There's a lot more to these girls than a gift for creative recycling

Remember this unassuming, homemade clip of Lulu and the Lampshades from last year?

What became known as the 'cup trick' (in fact, empty soup tubs; or is it ice-cream tubs?) caught the attention of many bloggers at the time; I think I first spotted it on Boing Boing. Still, I remember thinking that there's certainly more to these girls than creative recycling. They have lovely voices, and a fetchingly low-key style, and here's what they're up to these days:
