Suggestive Japanese ads for local hotels from the 70s.

Here's a collage of rather risqué Japanese TV commercials from the 1970s for local hotels in the Aichi area. I speak no Japanese, all the same I'll take a wild guess: the target group were men, or rather, businessmen; or rather, itinerant businessmen who craved more than a plain, clean room for the night.
