The Naked Ladies are starting to fade, but I did run across this vibrant healthy bunch next to the road today.

8/29/10 Summer Vines

The poor grapes have had a tough year.  Then in the last few weeks it got super hot, accelerating the harvest time even more.

8/28/10 Petaluma High School

My new house is  only a few blocks from Petaluma High School, where all of my kids went to school. Too bad I did not live so close when they were going there!

8/27/10 Cobras

These 2 cars called Cobras were parked at the bank.  They were pretty cool looking.

An added attraction the Wild Flour Bakery in Freestone is the Wildflower Gardens they also have,  where you are free to roam about.   They had huge sunflowers, over 10 ft tall.

8/21/10 Victorian Garden

This house used to look horrible, but someone fixed it up and now it is beautiful, especially the gardens.

8/16/10 Naked Ladies

These "naked ladies" are blooming all over town now.  A lot of people use them along the fence.  When we bought the office building the garden had a zillion of these bulbs, which I dug out to plant roses instead. They were almost impossible to get rid of.

8/15/10 Yellow Bench

My neighbor at the cabin has the cutest bench in her garden.
