Tmrw is the first EYE paper, and its the
English Paper!!
Arghh, ive fear the paper for so long. Coz i keep getting "jus passed" marks for eng class tests. Must really study hard for it. Not gonna fail. Coz ive nvr fail any Eng paper. Need study the format for report writing and letter writing. Thn must study the dictionary for hard words. Stupid ehh?

And tmrw is 1 October 2009. Know wat day is it?

Children's Day!!

I know im too old too celebrate such an event for kids, but still i won't forget about the day. The day where teachers finally appreciate childrens. Haha.

Well todat stayed back for history but in the end i did'nt go, coz got too many people. Thn did hmwk and revision with the Bush Family. Had fun and we they were serious in doing revision. Very serious. Gyeah, manage to complete maths worksheet. Saw Mr Rethi and he taught us history personally. If you dunno who the Bush Family is, thn i'll tell ya.

Reverse Painted on Glass, windows in place

Here in place are 3 reverse painting on glass windows. I used oil paint, playing with transparent and opaque paint. Today was sunny, I think the look will be quite different on cloudy days. Size about 5 feet tall.

Went for D&T lantern competition and we LOST. When we reach that we were amazed by the other lanterns. There were freakingly nice. And more sophisticated than ours. Such exceptional beauty. Well posted pictures of the winning lanterns. Do view it(:

Overall, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize went to Henderson Secondary. I can say theirs are finely done and creative. We jealous you know. Haha. So in all i missed Science practical exam and need to wait for make-up. Ending here, so gdnite!

September Workshop, Day Two

The September weather was beautiful for our weekend workshop. On day 2, Debra Nolan hosted us, with fantastic views across a small valley, pastoral San Juan Island. We tried a new technique, starting our paintings with black gesso, then glazing with a transparent color. This gave everyone a good "road map", and a lot of layered information. We talked a lot about mixing color. One artist found a nice shady spot and worked at creating a color wheel for himself, he said it was magic to mix color. Everyone participated in a demonstration of mixing greens. We used various blues and various yellows, and even some red to mix our greens. In looking at today's paintings, I see that everyone got a good grasp of mixing a variety of greens. We talked about the Fauves and the idea of brightening up the colors in the landscape. Some artists enjoyed playing with bright colors, and today's results were very exciting.
The first painting started as a very bright, fauve landscape demonstration. It was pretty bad...so I thought I'd see if I could make something happen by going back out on location. I used the bright under colors to help liven up the naturally dull colors of the natural palette. The sky was bright yellow at first, some of that flickers through to jazz up the sky. Everything was fine until my box of heavy paint slid over onto the surface of the wet canvas mushing about half of the painting...oh well, back to the easel....

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY KAK NURUL!

Well, yest went out to celebrate my Kak Nurul's birthday. Ate at Sakura. Everyone was like looking at us wen we sang birthday song for her. She has turn 21! And she's my beloved cousin. Eat,eat and eat till cannot digest anymore. Reached home at 12.30pm. Still not sleeping, but was eating croutons with butter. GOSH! Im gonna be fat. Fat, fat ,fat. LOL

Today, did all my homework from 6am to 8am. I concentrated well. Coz was listening to songs. Everyone was asleep. Peace and tranquility(: Wen back to sleep and woke up at 3pm. An hour before i post. Crazee right?! Well that's typically AMIRUL! Hahax. Tmrw start of term 4. Need to work very hard for EYE. Dun wanna fail. Must pass with RAINBOWS! Hahax.

September Workshop, Day One

Day One of this workshop was terrific!, Great weather, and unlimited subject matter down at Jensen's Shipyard. Jensen's will be celebrating 100 years next year. We might have to organize of show of all the paintings that have been done there over the years. Everyone got a good start today, finding interesting views, and doing well working with the paint. In particular, all artists had a good grasp of mixing color. Tomorrow we will go to a pastorial location and try our black gesso underpainting.

Yesterday wen for D&T thing. Stayed from 9.30 to 4plus. Had fun with them. Not all of them lurh. Lantern still not finish, thn Monday need stybck to finish the thing. I was not helping out tat much, instead took picha's. Look at Farah's taken picha.

A week is almost gone. Back to school tis Monday. Aww.. Hmwk still not done & finish. Lazy to do. So gonna end here and start doing my hmwks!

Monday, went for CIP meeting. Halfway through went for D&T. Thn did our 'draft' lantern, and i was satisfied with it.

Yesterday gt tuition, thn tmrw got D&T. 9am to 4pm, 8 hours in school tmrw. Haiz.. Haven't finish my hmwk, and friday got maths remedial. Looking forward to it, coz i like the new upcoming chapters. It looks so easy. I guess. LOL.

Will update tmrw if got time, the post tmrw will totally be about the lantern making. Just bear with it(: So BBs!

Last day of school, yeaps! Current mood, sleepy. But i sacrifice lurh, coz i won't hav tym to update during the holidays. Bear it in mind kaes? LOL.

Today, no malay, no history and no english. Malay, cikgu got course. History, Mr rethi dunno go where. English, ms kaur spend the time for housekeeping. Got my result slip, and i adore it a lot. Tats oni for CA, i sure flunk for EYE. I achieved good grades for the important subject(s), and flunk in geog and hist. Played too much till forget study for hist. I really forgot. In all, i passed all and im happy, I guess? Haix

"You only got two and a half weeks till you sit for your first paper", that quota is running mad in all teachers. Must study very hard and revise during the holidays. Tis post is boring. Oni talk about school. School here, school there. LOL

Anyone know where to find rainbow? Stupid question right? ROFL.

Cheerups! At least i was only left with 3 questions. No big deal. LOL
Oso, the STAR skill workshop was at its last today. So by next term, there is CDP! I soo missed CDP double-periods. LOL. Had science as usual, english took a test.

English test was okay2 larh. The comprehension passage was very long. 4 pages long! Can you believe it. At least i understand the passage. Quite easy.(:
