last it's back with me. Had my
handphone serviced at Junction 8.

New Abstract Drawings and an Abstract Collage

This summer my regular painting group took a break from figure painting and tried out different ideas. We worked in a clay studio, tried print making, did abstract drawing, developed ideas with text, and last, worked on collage. Here are some of my efforts. With my text piece, I continued to develope it with collage.

Today school as per normal only did my first prefect duty, was posted to 1T1, and they are quite cooperative. Wore the tie for the entire day in school. Went for the health screening and it was okay. Mr Tham got angry with Perle just because of a door. A Door? Its just a door what and nothing special. He was bloody upset with Perle but i think it was just a small mistake. Walao, he go scold Perle till like WHT?! Then tell story about his niece. Blah..blah..blah. So after school met Mrs Poh about the DnT competiton. Need to design a lantern and sketch it. I must put my heart and mind into it in order to win! Lol. So i'll end here with something that you guys can learn from it.

Our plein air, outdoor painting workshop began by the shore at Pear Point. We talked about oil painting supplies, how to begin a painting on location by sketching first. Next everyone saw a quick demonstration of painting with a palette knife. Everyone found intriguing views, and created wonderful paintings.

Demonstration painting which started as a morning painting and ended as a late evening view of San Juan Valley.







The second day we tried a new technique, underpainting with colored gesso, glazes and then painting with regular opaque paint. This gives a lot of layered information quickly. Most people used black gesso, Lisa tried blue gesso. We painted overlooking San Juan Valley on this beautiful day.

Just a short post today. Nth much to post abt.

Today skul was fine and History was great! Mr

Rethi talked about his experience during the AYG

event that went on recently. Mr Rethi go tell story

and we continued to history. 11.45am all the prefects wen

for their lunch before the investiture rehearsal. At that

time i wanted to CONSTIPATE but i just tahan. It was

bearable and it lasted for a few minutes. Did the rehearsal,

managed to make mr leong proud. Then at the end got

briefing on groups and duties. Im in Annabel's group,

ZS also. The duties were also enlisted and proposed to the

back of hall. Amy soo sad as she needs do ushering. Haha.

Angela mentioned about "ties". Prefects are to wear their

ties from the moment they step in to school until they

leave the school. Ain't Ridiculous eh? Wearing ties

make me sweat like hell man! Expect me to wear

for 6 hours in the morning from Monday to Friday,

each month? Bullshit! But i can't change the fact,

aww.. Won't talk much, so leaving this page with a

Heys!!!

Updated finally, u notice sumthin, ive changed my blogskin again. But now got my picture, as most of you out there wanna see my face. Lol I noe its kinda ugly, but pls accept the fact im human. Haha. Skul today as per normal oni tat Mr Tan came in durin Home econs as relief. But need du work and he helped. Thn eng, today ms kaur sat at the back to listen to ms tan teach. Got maths thn mtl. Ms Neethu came in for 2nd period as relief and it was apparently great larh. CDP thn head to the bus stop. Due to my STM-ness i forgot to tap my card, and the bus driver gimme long stare. Thn halfway thru, got tis sec 1 boy with his frens go dust out the dust of a seat in the bus making me pissed. I oready so pissed dun make me pissed more. Damn tat freaky kid. Rafael go shout at thm but they dun care and did it again. I had no comments so i just kept my mouth shut. So now at home, trying to configure my blog template to make it better. So ya pple, im going to try the Nuffnang contest and win a HTC magic. I desperately need a new phone!! My 24 months with W760i still a long wayand i dun wan terminate now coz later need pay alot.. So i jus bear with wat i hav.. haiz. Ending here so goodbye lah..!

July 18 and 19th Workshop filling up August and September Workshop Added

This coming weekend's workshop is filling up. I'm adding a second summer session August 22 and 23, as well as the September 11th and 12th dates. Workshops are open to artists of any level. I demonstrate with oil paint, though artist may work in the medium of their choice. Typically, we go out on location, often a farm followed by a shoreline. I try to pick scenic and diverse locations. There, artists will sketch and paint a completed plein air painting each day. Through out the workshop, I help each artist individually at their easel. Blog updated as usual, so just gonna talk abt school and sumthin extra. School today was okay, had mother tongue. And did a composition and you noe wat its abt? I'll translate ' Write about an experience on taking an MRT train'. Noe wat? I was the only wan hu has never ride an MRT train, u blive? Its a fact tat im going to share it. Lets go back to my past... Since small i took the bus and i think i did took the train but i was too small to remember the place. Thn if i can remember from 2002 onwards dad bought a car and from tat onwards ive rarely used public transportation. I remembered taking taxi a lot of times but never a train. Weird rite? But tats me, its my life, my character, its in my blood (I think..)..Lol

Been going out to get fit.
Yest wen east coast, wen cycling.
At first i dun wan bcoz i dunno how to ride.

For 13 years, i have not even ride a bike.
I scared to ride coz got phobia.
I dun need to tell wat kind of phobia but lets just say
CYCLINGPHOBIA. Lol?!
So yest tried to ride for the first time and it worked.
Passed my balancing and of i go.
I understnd some pple take years to pass the balancing thingy.
But in 10 minutes i cud ride.
Sounds indifferent rite?.Haha

Well its 1st of July and it means its only one month before people shower me gifts, Haha. I want my dad to buy me a Sony mp3 player aka walkman. Im damn desperate. Hope my dad keeps his word. I make sure he does if not..!!!! School was as per normal today only tat mr tham was'nt in school. So got relief period. Not bothered to hear a typical skul day rite? So i'll switch.

Internet Explorer can't display my blog perfectly!!!

Ermm..peepos there's a problem with my blog. Wen i used Mozilla Firefox and Google chrome the blog layout was damn perfect, but i warn you pls do not view it in Internet Explorer. It is like so fugly!!!. It actually look quite alike,so find it out yourself but sorry can't show it to you. I seriously forgot how to frame a webpage. I oni remebered MF's. IE i totally forgot, so can anyone help? STM larh. Need to eat more raisins, Lol. Tmrw got PW presentation and im like chicken-ing out. It depends on my groupmates whether they care or not. Anyone know about the H1N1 updates? How many people affected now? Im really seeking mercy from God these days, praying hard so everything goes back to normal. I'll shall end here.
